The trouble with new technology is that it can sometimes be difficult to tell how much better it actually is than what you already have. Of course, manufacturers will always make wild claims about the advantages of their latest products. But how can you find out if it is something which worth your investment?
Often the best way to do this is by finding out the recommendations of others. There are plenty of websites that offer impartial reviews of products such as the latest Mobile Phones, which can certainly be very helpful. However, when it comes to HX-V3 Video audio, it is good to be able to see/hear it for yourself. I have created the samples below so that you can experience the benefits of these pieces of equipment first hand.
Ok so just how much better is the recorded audio on the new HX-V3 custom firmware? Well play back these samples with decent headphones or a stereo and you’ll hear just how much better it really is Vs any official Samsung firmware. I recorded the above on HX-V3-17, recording loud music.
You can now enjoy recording live music events etc without absolute rubbish audio. Plus with a smooth 24 fps.
Here’s another users sample below music to show off the better audio:

Realplayer screws up my phone, and my picutre and video quality seems to be bad. Its as if you were recording a analog tv with it, there’s these faint lines that keep moving up. dictionary gone, and slow motion takes a long time to load. cant wait for HX-V3.1

hi! IT is works really GOOD,but some noise in videos
That’s normal in the second video due to low lighting conditions. Even my dedicated video camera does that in low light.
Hi….not only on this firmware (also in other ones) I have problems with e-mails….when I try to connect to gmail server almost always says “Memory full. Try to close some applications”…but I have none open…..so I need to restart my phone….and than is good for some time, but not long…..I really don’t know what to do…..is problem in RAM or what. Thanks for helping me….take care
I think is great Firmware! best ever!
i agree with you jimmy i got smae issues with dictionary, and slow mo. Its a pain in the ass if you ask me.
@ Jimmy and Saleh
The slow mo recording bug can be fixed by downloading the “Pre-autofocus” install file from the “Goodies” section on hyperx’s website. Enjoy
I’m gonna buy the next iPhone, not because it better than i8910 because Samsung is such a goddamn motherf*ckers with such a shitty customers support and crappy software! I HATE Apple but most of developers now are only writing apps for apple or android. I wish this phone had the Android OS instead of Symbian and has been made by Nokia or Apple. Screw you Samsung!
