Sandisk 16GB micro sdhc class 4 Ultra review
A common accessory for most modern model is a mirco sd card for expanding the available storage space on your Mobile. While the i8910 Omnia HD does come with either 8GB or 16GB built in memory its never enough. We have only an 8GB version and once you start adding that Mp3 music collection, a few 700mb+ DivX movies before you know it you have reached that 8GB limit. Yesterday I posted a review of Sandisk’s fastest and largest* micro sdhc card available the 16GB Class 4 Ultra Micro Sdhc.
Formatted to Fat32, 32kb unit allocation gives 14.8 GB free space for music, movies or whatever. The main reason I got this card was for decent write speeds and read speeds for transferring 720p movies. Using windows vista as a basic gauge I clocked a 14.2 Mb/sec write rate when moving a 700mb DivX movie file. Which is nice.

I have one of these, excellent card – trust Sandisk!
Got one of these in the mail yesterday, and it is truly excellent. Read speeds at ~20MB/s and write speeds at around ~15MB/s

Come on… Class 4? Get Class 6 at least.
as you can see from the speeds posted this card can actually be rated as a class 14 as it can maintain atleast a 14MB/s writing speed and more then that reading…
I have a Transcend microSDHC 16gb Class 6 Card…
PS: I have this card 2months now… And it’s faster as Sandisc 16gb Class 4 Card…

Did anyone get the 24 fps. for hd videorecording using these cards ?
I have a class 6 SDHC and it writes at only 7mbs. This car is double the speed. Don’t be fooled by the fact it says class 4. This will kill a transend or a-data class 6 micro sdhc ………..
It’s a class 4 card. It’s slower than a Class 6. Sorry nothing to see here. Move along.
