24 fps / 720p video made possible by HyperX and Wireless.
Thanks to the custom firmware master HyperX and wireless, our i8910 are finally going to see the 720p standard24fps. Not the 21-22 offered by Samsung’s official firmware releases. Wireless and HyperX have both worked hard to find a solution to the video frames per second issue. The savour coming from Sony’s Vivaz firmware files. While Sony’s new Vivaz mobile is running the same processor and similar hardware it does have a slight faster processor.
Nevertheless HyperX’s new custom firmware labeled HX-V3 will include 720p video @ 24fps at a constant rate. It will also feature better audio quality than the recent official firmware release.

Also for those that don’t wish to wait for Hypers release can try UK-JB1 custom firmware 24fps fix by mwarner of our forums. This firmware has been patched with wirless’s 24fps 720p video fix. Note: Remember to reduce the risk when flash please untick the boot flash option. If the boot sector is damaged your i8910 will be a shiny black brick.

Also, seeing Vivaz video codecs seem to produce slight better and smoother video recordings, you could also install [b]wireless[/b] own updated mod (almost perfect audio/video sync offseting for ~100ms or less and is not really noticable at all) so you don’t have to switch your FW if you like what you have already. You should consider all views here, newest HX rom will offer new and never seen features such as great audio quality on video recordings and pre-focus feature too, ‘older’ (or never) third party builds have no problem with stand alone modification at all. Each to his own – as they say
Anyway, we have something great for our i8910 now and I think we should all be grateful to some very special people (even those that remained in the shadow) who contributed to all latest discoveries and I trust some might guess who I’m referring to
hi, i just downloaded this firmware,and it has been installed to my phone,what can i say????so fare is the best firmware till now. many thanks to master HyperX and wireless,you have done great job. the phone is faster the camera is perfect( pictures and video) memory of the phone is up to 75MB

i’m from thailand and my phone is an australian firmware. I can’t use my pc studio7 to update becuase it shows that my phone doesn’t support. how can i get the update? thank you in advance.

I am installing Garmin Mobile XT for Symbian S60 3rd Edition software version 5.00.50
this is what i did exactly as listed,….but garmin installs but when I click icon in Applications folder, it comes up and goes away. Like if it’s running in background. I rebooted phone too but same results. please help as its biggie for me! -flashed phone to new firmware -upon reboot, installed garminmobile ver 5.00.50 listed above from mass storage. -during install, it says app is not compatible but I continued. -then it started installation without asking me where to install (C:\, Massstorage, or Microsd card, not sure why !!) -after install bar filled all the way, it said install complete. -I tried to run it from Applications folder Icon, and I get results as stated above.
what am I doing wrong? or are you guys installing any other version???

My friend had a samsung i8910 hd with old firmware but when i told him about new roms , he asked me to install one in his phone….so he gave it to me…
Error started as follows::::
1. First symbian rom flashing tool started showing error after downloading was started in download status area that it is unable to write data via usb..
2. After sometime in connection and progress area, i see fail after downloading to modem was finished..
3. For several hours phone got connected but nothing happened..
So i removed the phone and restart the phone but it wont start and i just see the light on the screen….
Help me guys…plz….. I m very poor…i cannot buy him a new one …
So plz… Help……….
